Do I need cash in Amsterdam for my driver?
No. An AmstelCab ride — €90 from Schiphol to any Amsterdam address in Business Class — is paid online when you book, or invoiced to a company, so no money changes hands in the car, and Schiphol says every taxi at its official stand takes contactless payment. Cash is only useful for a tip, which no chauffeur expects, and for a few coin-only extras such as the €1-and-€2-coin luggage lockers at the Amsterdam cruise terminal.

If someone else books for you, they pay; the guest never handles payment. Prices are per car, not per person, with 9% Dutch VAT included, and the same day and night. Booked less than 12 hours before pickup: +10%. At Schiphol the first 60 minutes of waiting are free, elsewhere 15 minutes; after that waiting is charged per minute at the class's hourly rate (Business €65 an hour). Free cancellation up to 1 hour before pickup.

Cards are the norm
Contactless card payment is how most people in the Netherlands pay for almost everything, and American cards work for it. You can arrive without euros and spend the first day without them.
A few coins are still handy: lockers, a tip, a vending machine. If you are at a trade show, RAI Amsterdam has cash machines at several locations in the building.

Can I pay the driver in cash instead of online?

Where can I get euros after landing?
From any bank’s cash machine, but you may not need many: cards work in most places and contactless is the norm, though a few shops take only debit cards.
