Booking a chauffeur,
field by field.
It takes about two minutes and asks for nothing you do not already know: where you are, where you are going, when, and how many of you there are. This page walks through the form, the price, the confirmation and everything that happens afterwards.
Four things to have in front of you.
There is no account to create, no app to install and no password to recover. Open the booking page, fill in the fields and pay; the whole thing lives in your browser and arrives in your inbox. If you would rather type it to a person, the same booking can be made on WhatsApp at +31 6 85141194, day or night.
What speeds things up is having the details ready. The full pickup address rather than a district. The flight number if you are being collected from Schiphol, because it is what lets us track the aircraft and move the car when the flight moves. A rough idea of how much luggage is coming. And the name and mobile number of whoever will actually be standing on the pavement, which may not be you.
Four screens, and the price is settled.
One-way takes a pickup and a destination. By the hour takes a pickup and a number of hours, with a two-hour minimum and 40 kilometres included in each hour; it must start and end in the same city.
Pick a date and time, or enter an arrival flight and let the form set the pickup relative to landing. For a departure, book at least three hours before the flight; your chauffeur confirms the departure hall.
Business, Van or First, each with its passenger and luggage capacity shown. The price next to each one is the whole price for that car — taxes, fuel, tolls and the chauffeur included, no meter behind it.
Pickup notes are where child seats, assistive devices, pets, a second stop or a name-sign preference go. Then pay by card, Apple Pay, iDEAL or Klarna. Paying by card costs nothing extra.
What lands in your inbox, and what follows it.
An email with the pickup, the time, the class and the fixed price. Check the address in it now rather than at six in the morning; anything wrong can be corrected by replying or by messaging dispatch.
Confirmed, then chauffeur en route, then passenger in the car, then safely arrived. They go to the person who booked and, when it is someone else travelling, to the passenger as well.
When the chauffeur sets off you get a link to My Ride, which shows his live location on a map. No app, no login — just the page, open in the browser you already have.
Dispatch is reachable 24 hours a day on the same line you booked on, and once a chauffeur is assigned you have his number too. Flights land early; that is what the line is for.
Assistants, hosts and anyone meeting a guest.
Most airport bookings are made by someone who is not travelling. The form is built for it: put the passenger’s name and mobile number in, and the updates run to both of you in parallel. You see the car dispatched and the guest delivered; the guest gets the chauffeur’s name and a text when he is standing in the hall.
The name sign is your choice. It can carry the passenger’s name, your company’s name, or nothing at all if the arrival is meant to be quiet. Say so in the pickup notes and it will be waiting exactly as asked. For repeat bookings, a corporate account with monthly invoicing removes the card from the process altogether.
What you pay, and when it can change.
Every figure is per car, taxes included, and it is fixed at the moment you book. Nothing is added afterwards for traffic, for a busy night or for paying by card.
Free cancellation up to one hour before pickup. Inside that hour, half the fare is charged; once the chauffeur has been dispatched, the full fare. The Mercedes-Maybach is fixed only between Schiphol and Amsterdam, at €225 and €250 — every other Maybach trip is quoted by hand.
Some bookings want a conversation.
The Maybach is never first come, first served; multi-car arrivals, multi-day itineraries and long-distance runs into Germany or France need a person to look at them. Send the outline and dispatch comes back with availability and one fixed price, usually within the hour.
The form itself — route, time, class, notes, payment. About two minutes.
Follow the chauffeur’s live location on the day, without an app or a login.
Changes, cancellations, lost property and the questions that come up mid-trip.
The longer answers: waiting times, luggage, payment, accounts and the fleet.
Your chauffeur waits inside the arrivals hall, holding an iPad with your name.
We track your flight from the moment you book. The first 60 minutes after landing are included, so slow baggage costs you nothing, and your chauffeur messages you around landing. They take the luggage and walk you to the car in the Privium section at the front of P1, directly opposite the terminal — a covered walk of about two minutes. Nobody is sent upstairs to find a car at Departures.
Neither. The booking form works in any browser and asks only for the trip details and a way to reach you. Tracking the car on the day happens through a link to My Ride, which is also just a web page. Companies that book often can ask for an invoiced account, but that is a convenience rather than a requirement.
As soon as the trip is fixed, particularly for early-morning airport runs and for the Maybach, which is confirmed by hand. Later is still possible — dispatch answers 24 hours a day — but anything booked within 12 hours of pickup carries a 10% short-notice surcharge.
By major card, Apple Pay, iDEAL or Klarna at the end of the booking. There is no surcharge for paying by card and no cash is handled in the car. Corporate accounts are invoiced instead, which is the simpler route if your assistant books several trips a month.
Yes. Reply to the confirmation or message dispatch, and a time, an address or a class can be changed while the car is still unassigned. Cancellation is free up to one hour before pickup; inside that hour half the fare applies, and once the chauffeur has been dispatched the full fare does.
Nothing needs doing. Every Schiphol pickup is tracked from the moment you book, so the car moves with the aircraft rather than with the schedule. Your chauffeur waits inside the arrivals hall with a name sign, and the first sixty minutes after landing are free.
The guest’s name and mobile number in the passenger fields, and your own details as the booker. Both of you then receive the status updates: confirmed, chauffeur en route, passenger in the car, safely arrived. Anything the chauffeur should know — a wheelchair, a child seat, a blank name sign — goes in the pickup notes.
