River cruise transfers
in Amsterdam.
Between Schiphol, the hotels and the river cruise quays — for the operators who move a shipload at a time, and for the guests arriving a day early or staying a little longer.

A turnaround day, run as one operation.
Embarkation and disembarkation are the two days your guests remember most sharply — and the two days with the least room for error. AmstelCab coordinates them end to end: manifest-based scheduling, cars and vans staged in sequence at the quay, English-speaking chauffeurs who treat your guests as their own. The guest simply steps ashore and is met by name.
You deal with one dispatch contact all day and receive one consolidated invoice per call. Nothing is re-brokered — the fleet, the chauffeurs and the dispatch are all ours.
Share the passenger manifest and flight details. We build the pickup schedule around your embarkation and disembarkation windows — not the other way round.
Sedans and V-Class vans arrive in sequence, not in a crowd. Guests step ashore, are met by name, and the quay stays workable for your crew.
A single WhatsApp line to our dispatch from the first pickup to the last drop-off. A delayed flight or a late gangway is our problem to reschedule, not yours.
The operator pays; the guest never handles payment. After the call, you receive one consolidated invoice for the day — no per-ride receipts to chase.
Close to the centre, half an hour from Schiphol.
Amsterdam’s river cruise traffic works from the Passenger Terminal Amsterdam and the city’s river cruise moorings — all of them a short drive from the centre and 20 to 30 minutes by car from Schiphol. Moorings are assigned by the port and can shift; our dispatch confirms the exact pickup point before the day, so the car is where the gangway is.

Arriving early. Staying on. Flying home.
Your flight is tracked and the first hour of waiting is free. Your chauffeur meets you in arrivals with a name sign and drives you straight to the gangway.
Staying on after the cruise? We collect you at the quay with room for every case and deliver you to your hotel door — in Amsterdam or anywhere in the country.
Disembarkation mornings are early and luggage-heavy. We time the pickup to your flight, load everything at the gangway, and you walk into departures with your hands free.
Cruise luggage is what our Van Class was chosen for — it swallows seven cases whole. And if the ship sails without you for a day or two, a private tour of Keukenhof, Giethoorn or Delft fills the gap between gangway and gate rather well. Not sure which quay your ship uses? Our guide to Amsterdam’s river cruise berths lists them, from De Ruijterkade to Coenhaven.
The ship is yours. The shore is ours.
Marketplaces broker your transfer out and hope for the best. AmstelCab is an Amsterdam chauffeur company — the people who quote your season are the people who dispatch the cars. That is why the same promises that hold for a single airport transfer hold for a full turnaround day.
The everyday workhorse: sedans for one to three passengers.
Room for groups, families and luggage, with up to seven seats.
Flagship saloons for executives and VIP arrivals.
The pinnacle: Mercedes-Maybach, by request only.
Your chauffeur waits inside the arrivals hall, holding an iPad with your name.
We track your flight from the moment you book. The first 60 minutes after landing are included, so slow baggage costs you nothing, and your chauffeur messages you around landing. They take the luggage and walk you to the car in the Privium section at the front of P1, directly opposite the terminal — a covered walk of about two minutes. Nobody is sent upstairs to find a car at Departures.
To Schiphol from €80. Booked less than 12 hours ahead: +10%. English-speaking chauffeurs, 24/7 dispatch on WhatsApp +31 6 85141194, free cancellation up to 1 hour before pickup.
Yes. We run turnaround days as one operation: multiple cars and vans scheduled against your passenger manifest, staged in sequence at the quay, with a single dispatch contact from the first pickup to the last drop-off.
The operator. When transfers are part of the cruise package we invoice the cruise line directly, consolidated per call. Your guests are met by name and never handle payment.
Our Van Class — the Mercedes-Benz V-Class — seats up to seven passengers with seven cases, which is what a river cruise turnaround usually asks for. Business and First Class sedans carry three cases each.
We track every Schiphol arrival and move the pickup ourselves. The chauffeur waits in arrivals with a name sign, and the first 60 minutes of waiting at the airport are free.
Message our dispatch on WhatsApp or call +31 6 85141194. Tell us your ship, your season and your typical guest numbers, and we come back with fixed rates and a single point of contact for your Amsterdam calls.
