Should I tip my private driver in the Netherlands?
You don’t need to: an AmstelCab price is the whole price for the car — €90 from Schiphol into Amsterdam in Business Class, or €65 an hour when you hire by the hour — with VAT and waiting included, and no chauffeur expects more. If your chauffeur did something that genuinely helped, a tip is welcome and goes entirely to them; because the online payment covers only the booked price, it is given by hand at the end of the ride.

Minimum 2 hours. The day must start and end in the same city. Prices are per car, not per person, with 9% Dutch VAT included, and the same day and night. Booked less than 12 hours before pickup: +10%. At Schiphol the first 60 minutes of waiting are free, elsewhere 15 minutes; after that waiting is charged per minute at the class's hourly rate (Business €65 an hour). Free cancellation up to 1 hour before pickup.

When guests do tip
Guests who tip usually do it after a long day or an unusual effort: an early-morning pickup that went smoothly after a delayed flight, a day of meetings where the car was always at the door, help with a wheelchair or a pile of cases. Rounding up or handing over a note is the usual form.
If you would rather thank the chauffeur another way, tell dispatch what they did well. That reaches the person who assigns the rides, and it is remembered.

No. The online payment is the booked price and nothing else, so a tip — if you want to give one — is handed to the chauffeur directly.
Does the chauffeur keep the whole tip?
