Can I pay my Amsterdam airport transfer in US dollars?
Not in dollars: AmstelCab prices and payments are in euros, but a US credit or debit card or Apple Pay works at checkout, and your card issuer converts the amount — €90 for Business Class from Schiphol to any Amsterdam address, €80 back. We charge no card surcharge; any foreign-transaction fee or exchange margin is set by your bank.

The amount in euros is fixed when you book; only the dollar figure on your statement depends on your bank’s exchange rate that day. Prices are per car, not per person, with 9% Dutch VAT included, and the same day and night. Booked less than 12 hours before pickup: +10%. At Schiphol the first 60 minutes of waiting are free, elsewhere 15 minutes; after that waiting is charged per minute at the class's hourly rate (Business €65 an hour). Free cancellation up to 1 hour before pickup.

What is included in the price

A tip for the exchange rate
Cards differ in what they charge abroad. If you have a card without foreign-transaction fees, use that one for the booking. The euro amount is the same whichever card you choose; only your bank’s part changes.
Companies that book often can ask for an invoice arrangement instead of paying by card for each ride. Invoices are issued in euros.

Can I pay the chauffeur in dollars in cash?
No payment is taken in the car at all: the ride is paid online when you book, in euros.
Why does my statement show a slightly different amount?
Because your bank converts the euro price at its own rate and may add a foreign-transaction fee. The euro amount we charge is exactly the price on your confirmation.
Do I need a European card to book?
No. American credit and debit cards work at checkout, as does Apple Pay; iDEAL is the Dutch bank option you will see but do not need.
