When is PAN Amsterdam 2026, and what's the easiest way to get there and back?
PAN Amsterdam, the art, antiques and design fair, runs in Hall 8 of RAI Amsterdam from Sunday, November 1, to Sunday, November 8, 2026, from 11:00 to 18:00 on most days and until 20:00 on Tuesday, November 3. Tickets cost €28.50 online plus a €1.50 booking fee, or €32.50 at the door, and the fair takes no cash. The RAI is about 15 minutes by car from central Amsterdam and 17 minutes from Schiphol on a clear road. Plan for a busy week: from November 3 to 5, ISPO holds its first Amsterdam edition at the same complex with more than 50,000 visitors expected, alongside TIDES Europe.

Rides inside Amsterdam up to 10 km have a fixed price per car (€50 in Business Class); a detour around closures does not change it. Longer rides are priced per kilometer and shown before you book. By the hour: minimum 2 hours, 40 km included per hour, and the day starts and ends in the same city. The driver waits between stops. Prices are per car, not per person, with 9% Dutch VAT included, and the same day and night. During ADE week (pickups October 20 to 26, 2026) fixed ADE-week prices apply, shown before you book; promo codes cannot be used that week. Booked less than 12 hours before pickup: +10%. At an airport or an intercity station the first 60 minutes of waiting are free, elsewhere 15 minutes; after that waiting is charged per minute at the class's hourly rate (Business €65 an hour). Free cancellation up to 1 hour before pickup.
What is included in the price
- A fixed price confirmed at booking, with VAT included: no meter and no surge
- The chauffeur’s name, car and phone number before pickup, plus e-mail reminders 24 hours and 2 hours ahead
- Water and phone chargers (iOS and Android) in the car
- Status updates to the person who booked, if that is not the passenger: confirmed, chauffeur en route, guest in the car, arrived

PAN asks visitors who drive themselves to follow the signs to entrance F. With a driver, the RAI's own rule applies: cars cannot drive up to the hall entrances, but they can let you out at Lodge P7 and pick you up there at a time you agree. RAI parking costs €5.50 an hour, up to €35 a day, or €29 for a day ticket bought in advance (the rates the RAI published for Masters Expo in December 2026).
How collectors use a driver at PAN
- Arrival day: Schiphol pickup, hotel, then the fair before closing.
- Fair and dealers in one day: the Spiegelkwartier, the antiques street by the Rijksmuseum, is a short drive from the RAI. The driver waits while you look, and small purchases ride in the locked trunk.
- Evening: dinner after the late opening on Tuesday, November 3.
What a PAN day with a driver costs
An example day of 6 hours: Business Class €390, Van Class €480 for up to 7 people, First Class €600. The hours include 40 km of driving each, and the day starts and ends in Amsterdam. A ride from your hotel to the RAI on its own is fixed from €50 in Business Class.
Related questions
Can a car drop me at the PAN entrance?
Close to it. Cars cannot drive up to the RAI's hall entrances, so your driver lets you out at Lodge P7, in the middle of the complex, and you walk to Hall 8; see RAI entrance drop-off.
Can I take a purchase with me in the car?
Small works, yes, in the trunk. For large pieces, ask the dealer about packing and shipping.
Is PAN open to the public?
Yes. Buy a ticket on pan.nl (€28.50 plus the booking fee) or pay €32.50 by card at the door.
