Will my driver help carry bags to a canal house with steep stairs?
Your chauffeur handles the luggage from the airport belt to the car and out again at your door, but carrying cases up the inside stairs of a canal house is not part of the published service, so ask for it when you book — in the “Pickup notes” field or on WhatsApp at +31 6 85141194 — and we will tell you before the day what is possible at your address. Tell your host how many cases you bring too, because old canal houses often have steep, narrow stairs.

Business Class takes up to 3 bags; Van Class up to 7. Prices are per car, not per person, with 9% Dutch VAT included, and the same day and night. Booked less than 12 hours before pickup: +10%. At Schiphol the first 60 minutes of waiting are free, elsewhere 15 minutes; after that waiting is charged per minute at the class's hourly rate (Business €65 an hour). Free cancellation up to 1 hour before pickup.

Why we don’t promise the stairs
We only publish what every ride delivers. Getting cases to your door is always part of it. Carrying them up three floors of a narrow canal-house staircase depends on the building, the bags and the chauffeur on the day, so it is something we confirm per booking rather than print as a promise.
For comparison, Dutch rules for taxis allow a supplement for extra services such as lifting suitcases, as long as it is agreed before the ride. With us, a request in the “Pickup notes” field gets a clear answer before you travel.

Schiphol runs a porter service that you book by e-mail at least 5 days ahead. Once you are in the arrivals hall, your chauffeur takes over the luggage.
