We’re two people with four big suitcases — what car do we need from Schiphol to our Amsterdam hotel?
Book Van Class: a Mercedes V-Class takes, as a guide, 6 extra-large or 8 standard check-in cases, for a fixed €125 from Schiphol to any Amsterdam address, per car with VAT included. A Business Class sedan is sized for about 2 standard check-in cases, so four large suitcases won’t fit in one; the chauffeur loads and unloads every bag.

Back to Schiphol in Van Class: €85. Declare the number and size of bags when you book, so the right car comes. Prices are per car, not per person, with 9% Dutch VAT included, and the same day and night. Booked less than 12 hours before pickup: +10%. At Schiphol the first 60 minutes of waiting are free, elsewhere 15 minutes; after that waiting is charged per minute at the class's hourly rate (Business €65 an hour). Free cancellation up to 1 hour before pickup.

Each figure is one loading option shown with a photo of the trunk on our booking page, not a sum. Mixed loads (for example two large and two carry-on) are fine in the van; tell us what you have.
What is included in the price
- Flight tracking from the moment you book: an early or late landing moves the pickup, at no extra cost
- Your chauffeur inside the arrivals hall your flight feeds into, holding an iPad sign with your name (or a company name, or no name)
- A message or call from the chauffeur around landing, so you find each other quickly
- Luggage carried from the hall to the car, which waits in the Privium section at the front of P1, a covered walk of about two minutes
- The first 60 minutes of waiting at Schiphol

Is the train a bad idea with this much luggage?
When the train is fine
- Each of you has one suitcase you can roll and lift alone.
- Your hotel is a short, flat walk from Amsterdam Centraal.
When a chauffeur is the better choice
- You have more cases than hands: platforms, train doors and the tram all mean lifting.
- Your hotel is on the canals, where the last stretch is cobbles and bridges.
- You are joining a cruise or a long trip and carry everything with you.
- You are two couples: one van at €125 instead of two sedans.
What happens with your bags
- Tell us the count at booking. Number of cases and whether any are extra-large, plus strollers, golf bags or boxes.
- The chauffeur meets you at the doors. Inside the arrivals hall, and takes over the trolley.
- A short walk to the van. About two minutes, under cover, to the Privium section of P1.
- Unloaded at the hotel. Every bag out of the car at your door.
