How close can a driver get to my Airbnb on Keizersgracht?

Because Keizersgracht runs a long way around the canal ring, with odd numbers on one side and even on the other. The number tells the chauffeur which quay to approach and from which end.
Can the car wait on Keizersgracht while we check in?
Not parked on the quay: the traffic rules allow a stop only for as long as unloading takes. If you need a car to wait, book by the hour and the chauffeur waits nearby.
Is it better to be dropped at a nearby bridge?
