How do I see the most of Amsterdam Art Week 2026?
Amsterdam Art Week 2026 runs from Wednesday, November 18, to Sunday, November 22, back in November together with its long-standing partner, the Rijksakademie Open Studios. Galleries, art spaces and museums across the city take part, the organizer says many programs are free, and the full program is being published step by step on amsterdamart.com. Venues are spread from Noord to Zuid, so plan two or three neighborhoods per evening and let a driver cover the gaps.

By the hour: minimum 2 hours, 40 km included per hour, and the day starts and ends in the same city. The driver waits between stops. Prices are per car, not per person, with 9% Dutch VAT included, and the same day and night. During ADE week (pickups October 20 to 26, 2026) fixed ADE-week prices apply, shown before you book; promo codes cannot be used that week. Booked less than 12 hours before pickup: +10%. At an airport or an intercity station the first 60 minutes of waiting are free, elsewhere 15 minutes; after that waiting is charged per minute at the class's hourly rate (Business €65 an hour). Free cancellation up to 1 hour before pickup.

Covering several areas in one evening
Four hours is enough for three areas, for example the Jordaan, Oost and Noord, with the driver waiting outside each stop. Sunset on Thursday, November 19, is at 16:43, and November brings rain on about 13 days at Schiphol, so a car keeps you dry between neighborhoods. Four hours with a driver: €260 in Business Class, €320 in Van Class, €400 in First Class.
Collectors in town for longer
Art Week sits between two fairs: PAN Amsterdam at the RAI (November 1 to 8) and the Affordable Art Fair at De Kromhouthal in Noord (November 25 to 29). A driver by the hour suits studio visits and dealers spread over the city; the hours include 40 km of driving each, and the day starts and ends in Amsterdam.
