How do I get to the Affordable Art Fair 2026, and how do I get my art home?
The Affordable Art Fair Amsterdam runs from Wednesday, November 25, to Sunday, November 29, 2026, at De Kromhouthal, Gedempt Hamerkanaal 231 in Amsterdam Noord. The vernissage is on Wednesday from 17:00 to 22:00; the fair is then open Thursday 14:00 to 21:00, Friday 12:00 to 21:00, Saturday 10:00 to 19:00 and Sunday 10:00 to 18:00. Noord is across the IJ from the center, by free GVB ferry or by car through the IJ tunnel, and carrying a framed work onto a ferry in November rain is the hard part, so a car from the door is the easy way back.

Rides inside Amsterdam up to 10 km have a fixed price per car (€50 in Business Class); a detour around closures does not change it. Longer rides are priced per kilometer and shown before you book. At an airport or an intercity station the first 60 minutes of waiting are free, elsewhere 15 minutes; after that waiting is charged per minute at the class's hourly rate (Business €65 an hour). Free cancellation up to 1 hour before pickup.

Wrap the work before it goes into the car. Small and medium pieces travel in the trunk; for large works, ask the gallery about delivery. A ride from De Kromhouthal to a hotel in the center is a fixed €50 in Business Class, or €70 in a Van Class car with more room.
