How do I get from Schiphol to the International Criminal Court in The Hague?
By car it is about 43 km (27 miles) and roughly 42 minutes without traffic to the Court on the Oude Waalsdorperweg, where vehicles may drop you in front of the main entrance but not stay; in Business Class that is about €147 per car, fixed at booking. By public transport, take the train to The Hague and then bus 22 or 23, the lines the Court itself recommends.

How long is the trip by train and bus?
Trains from Schiphol reach both The Hague stations directly; from Den Haag Centraal the Court is about 4 km by road. Plan the bus leg on 9292, as the Court advises, and allow for the security check at the entrance.
Can I go straight from the plane to a hearing?
Yes, if the timing works: hearings usually run in sessions from 09:30, 11:30 and 14:30, and the public gallery can be entered and left at any time. Bring a physical photo ID, because digital IDs are not accepted, and keep the luggage in the car.
What about getting back to Schiphol afterwards?
Book the return with the outward ride. The Court has no permanent taxi stand; its information desk can order a taxi for you, while a booked chauffeur is already waiting at the visitors’ car park, in a car with the blue taxi plates the Court advises.
