Can I pre-book a car for New Year’s Eve in Amsterdam?
Yes, and it is the one night when booking early matters most: requests are handled in the order they arrive, so book weeks rather than days ahead. The price is fixed when you book and there is no New Year’s surcharge — €50 in Business Class for a short city ride of 10 km or less, and a car for the whole evening is €65 an hour with a 2-hour minimum, so 5 hours cost €325.

Minimum 2 hours, 40 km included per hour, starting and ending in Amsterdam. Single rides inside Amsterdam from €50; Schiphol to Amsterdam €90 in Business Class. Prices are per car, not per person, with 9% Dutch VAT included, and the same day and night. Booked less than 12 hours before pickup: +10%. At an airport or an intercity station the first 60 minutes of waiting are free, elsewhere 15 minutes; after that waiting is charged per minute at the class's hourly rate (Business €65 an hour). Free cancellation up to 1 hour before pickup.

What is included in the price
- A fixed price confirmed at booking, with VAT included: no meter and no surge
- The chauffeur’s name, car and phone number before pickup, plus e-mail reminders 24 hours and 2 hours ahead
- Water and phone chargers (iOS and Android) in the car
- Status updates to the person who booked, if that is not the passenger: confirmed, chauffeur en route, guest in the car, arrived
- Free cancellation up to 1 hour before pickup
Booking New Year’s Eve
- Book early. Weeks ahead, not days: the number of cars that night is fixed, demand is not.
- Choose rides or hours. Two fixed rides for a set plan; an hourly booking when the evening moves.
- Set a meeting point. Near the busiest squares, pick a spot a short walk away where cars can stop.
- Confirmed means confirmed. Once the booking is confirmed, the car and the price are yours, whatever the rest of the city is paying that night.

How far ahead should I book?
Weeks rather than days. We allocate the cars for December 31 in the order the requests come in, and that night is among the first in the year to fill up.
Is New Year’s Eve more expensive?
No. The fixed price is the same as on any other night, with no holiday or night surcharge; the one time-based surcharge is the 10% that applies all year to bookings made less than 12 hours before pickup.
What if our plans change?
You can cancel for free up to 1 hour before the pickup time, or message dispatch to move it. After that the terms and conditions apply.
Why book at all, if taxis run that night?
Public transport stopped between about 20:00 and 01:30 last year, so every taxi and app in the city serves the whole crowd at once. A booked car is assigned to you in advance; see taxis on New Year’s Eve.
