Is there a shuttle from Schiphol to the RAI for IBC, and what’s the best alternative?
No — IBC says it no longer provides a complimentary airport shuttle, for sustainability reasons, and points attendees to the train from Schiphol to Amsterdam RAI station. IBC2027 runs Friday, September 10 to Monday, September 13, 2027 at RAI Amsterdam; if you have luggage, kit or colleagues with you, a pre-booked car from the arrivals hall is a fixed €90 in Business Class or €125 in Van Class to the RAI or any Amsterdam hotel.

RAI → Schiphol after the show: €80 in Business Class. Exhibitor crews by the hour: €80 an hour in Van Class. Prices are per car, not per person, with 9% Dutch VAT included, and the same day and night. Booked less than 12 hours before pickup: +10%. At Schiphol the first 60 minutes of waiting are free, elsewhere 15 minutes; after that waiting is charged per minute at the class's hourly rate (Business €65 an hour). Free cancellation up to 1 hour before pickup.

Train or car for IBC?
When the train is fine
- You carry a backpack and a carry-on, and your hotel is near a station on the line to Amsterdam RAI.
- You arrive in daytime and want the lowest cost.
When a chauffeur is the better choice
- You bring camera, audio or demo kit.
- You arrive as a crew or team — one van instead of several tickets and a lot of lifting.
- You stay outside the center and don’t want to change trains with cases.
- You arrive at night.
Arriving for IBC
- Book with your flight number. The price is fixed at booking; reminders arrive 24 and 2 hours before pickup.
- Passport control. Non-EU travelers register under the EU Entry/Exit System; the chauffeur waits.
- Kit into the car. The chauffeur helps load; declare large cases when booking.
- To the RAI or the hotel. The same fixed price to either.
