How do we get our Metstrade exhibitor team and product samples from Schiphol to the RAI?
Book Van Class: a Mercedes V-Class takes up to 7 people and 7 bags from Schiphol to the RAI or your Amsterdam hotel for a fixed €125, VAT included, and teams larger than 7 travel in several cars booked together. We carry your people and the cases and samples you bring as luggage to the entrance; freight for the stand itself is not something a passenger car delivers onto the show floor.

Van Class is the car for a team with cases; Business and First Class take up to 3 passengers and 3 bags. Back to Schiphol in Van Class: €85. Prices are per car, not per person, with 9% Dutch VAT included, and the same day and night. Booked less than 12 hours before pickup: +10%. At Schiphol the first 60 minutes of waiting are free, elsewhere 15 minutes; after that waiting is charged per minute at the class's hourly rate (Business €65 an hour). Free cancellation up to 1 hour before pickup.

Declare bulky items (display parts, long tubes, heavy sample cases) when you book; the chauffeur can refuse items that were not agreed or that don’t fit safely, as our terms set out.

Train or van for an exhibitor team?
When the train is fine
- Everyone travels with a carry-on and the stand material was shipped ahead.
- You arrive on different flights at different times and each person goes straight to the hotel by the direct train to Amsterdam RAI station.
When a chauffeur is the better choice
- You carry samples, display parts or several check-in cases.
- You arrive together and want to go straight to the stand for build-up.
- Your hotel is not on the train or metro line to the RAI.
- You need an early run before public transport gets busy on build-up days.
How an exhibitor arrival runs
- Send the team list. Names or a headcount, flight numbers, luggage and sample count, hotel and hall. A WhatsApp message is enough.
- We match cars to the load. Up to 7 people and 7 bags per Van Class; more people or more cases means another car.
- Met in arrivals. The chauffeur holds the company name on the sign and loads the cases.
- Straight to the RAI or the hotel. Build-up days often start early; the price is the same at any hour.

We are exhibiting in a country pavilion. Do you work with the pavilion organizer?
No. AmstelCab is an independent chauffeur service with no link to Metstrade, the RAI or any pavilion organizer. Exhibitors book us directly, and Metstrade’s own advice to exhibitors is not to engage third parties that contact them — we don’t.
Can you deliver our boxes to the stand?
We drive people and the cases they bring as luggage to the entrance. Delivery of freight onto the show floor is arranged through the organizer and the venue, not by a passenger car.
Can the same van take our team of 6 from the hotel every day?
Yes. Book a morning and an evening ride each day (€70 each in Van Class for up to 10 km in Amsterdam), or hold the van by the hour at €80 an hour if you need it during the day as well.
What if one of us lands a day later?
Book that arrival separately with its own flight number. Each pickup is tracked and met on its own, and the booker receives the status updates for all of them.
