Can I book one driver for the whole Metstrade week in Amsterdam?
Yes. Most people combine three published prices: a fixed transfer from Schiphol (€90 in Business Class), a car held by the hour on show days (€65 an hour, minimum 2 hours, 40 km included per hour) and a fixed ride back to Schiphol (€80). A full 8-hour day in Business Class is €520, per car with VAT included, and you can ask for the same chauffeur on every booking.

An hourly booking starts at your pickup time and ends in the same city it started in, so it suits a week based in Amsterdam. Kilometers beyond the included 40 per hour are charged at the class’s per-kilometer rate, and extra time is rounded up to the next half hour. The Mercedes-Maybach by the hour is on request. Prices are per car, not per person, with 9% Dutch VAT included, and the same day and night. Booked less than 12 hours before pickup: +10%. At Schiphol the first 60 minutes of waiting are free, elsewhere 15 minutes; after that waiting is charged per minute at the class's hourly rate (Business €65 an hour). Free cancellation up to 1 hour before pickup.

There is no separate package price; this is simply the sum of published prices. A team of up to 7 in Van Class is €80 an hour, First Class is €100 an hour.

Do you need a car every day?
When the train is fine
- Your hotel is on Metro 52 or tram 4, which the organizer says stop in front of the RAI.
- Your days are show days only, with no meetings elsewhere in the city.
- You don’t mind walking from the stop to your hall in November weather.
When a chauffeur is the better choice
- You have client meetings in the Zuidas, the center or at a yard between show hours.
- You carry samples, a laptop bag and a coat and want to leave some of it in the car.
- You host guests at dinner and need them collected and dropped at different hotels.
- You are visiting yards — see shipyard days by car.
How to set up the week
- Send the week on WhatsApp. Flight numbers, hotel, show days, any dinners or yard visits, how many people. Dispatch replies with the bookings and the total.
- Arrival. Met inside the Schiphol arrivals hall with your name on the sign, flight tracked.
- Show days. The car collects you at the hotel at the time you set and stays with you for the hours you booked.
- Departure. A fixed ride to Schiphol; we recommend being at the airport 3 hours before a flight to the US.
