Will my airport driver wait if passport control at Schiphol takes two hours?
Yes. Your AmstelCab chauffeur tracks the flight and waits inside the arrivals hall; the first 60 minutes of waiting are included in the fixed price, and after that waiting is charged per minute at your class’s hourly rate — in Business Class €65 an hour, so a second hour costs €65. If the wait outlasts one chauffeur, dispatch sends a replacement, so someone with your name is there when you come through.

The Mercedes-Maybach is handled by dispatch on request. Prices are per car, not per person, with 9% Dutch VAT included, and the same day and night. Booked less than 12 hours before pickup: +10%. At Schiphol the first 60 minutes of waiting are free, elsewhere 15 minutes; after that waiting is charged per minute at the class's hourly rate (Business €65 an hour). Free cancellation up to 1 hour before pickup.

Amounts include VAT and are added to the fixed transfer price. Charged per minute, so a 10-minute overrun costs a sixth of the hourly rate.

If you are stuck in the passport line
- You don’t need to do anything. The chauffeur knows you landed and stays in the hall.
- If you can, send a message. A short WhatsApp to dispatch (+31 6 85141194) — “still in passport control” — helps us plan the chauffeur’s time.
- After the free hour. Waiting is added per minute at your class’s hourly rate and shown on your invoice.
- When you come through. Your name is on the sign at the doors of your arrivals hall.

You can: the booking form offers a pickup at landing or 15, 30, 45 or 60 minutes after landing. Our terms count the free 60 minutes from the agreed pickup time, so choosing “60 min after arrival” keeps you free of waiting charges until 2 hours after landing.
Does my car service charge extra if I’m stuck in immigration?
Only after the free hour, and only for the minutes the chauffeur actually waits. Those minutes are billed pro rata at the hourly rate of the class you booked — €65 per hour for Business, €80 for Van, €100 for First.
