I'm deaf. Can I book and complete a car ride in Amsterdam without phone calls?
Yes, every step can happen in writing. Book online or on WhatsApp, write "text only, please do not call" in the pickup notes, and dispatch and your chauffeur will message instead of ringing. You get the confirmation and reminders by e-mail 24 hours and 2 hours before pickup, My Ride shows the chauffeur's name, the plate and the car's live position, and at Schiphol the chauffeur stands inside the arrivals hall with your name on a sign, so there is nothing to hear. WhatsApp dispatch answers day and night. At the airport itself, Schiphol recognizes the green sunflower lanyard for hidden disabilities, and staff give more time at security and passport control.

Schiphol to any Amsterdam address is a fixed price per car, with meet and greet inside the arrivals hall and the first 60 minutes of waiting free. Prices are per car, not per person, with 9% Dutch VAT included, and the same day and night. During ADE week (pickups October 20 to 26, 2026) fixed ADE-week prices apply, shown before you book; promo codes cannot be used that week. Booked less than 12 hours before pickup: +10%. At an airport or an intercity station the first 60 minutes of waiting are free, elsewhere 15 minutes; after that waiting is charged per minute at the class's hourly rate (Business €65 an hour). Free cancellation up to 1 hour before pickup.
What is included in the price
- Flight tracking from the moment you book: an early or late landing moves the pickup, at no extra cost
- Your chauffeur inside the arrivals hall your flight feeds into, holding an iPad sign with your name (or a company name, or no name)
- A message or call from the chauffeur around landing, so you find each other quickly
- Luggage carried from the hall to the car, which waits in the Privium section at the front of P1, a covered walk of about two minutes
- The first 60 minutes of waiting at Schiphol
- Water and phone chargers (iOS and Android) in the car; English-speaking chauffeur and 24/7 dispatch
The ride, step by step
| Moment | How you're told |
|---|---|
| Booking confirmed | E-mail with the fixed price and My Ride link |
| 24 h and 2 h before | E-mail reminders |
| Chauffeur assigned | E-mail with the name, car and phone number; the same on My Ride |
| Chauffeur on the way or waiting | E-mail, and messages in writing only, as your notes ask |
| In the hall | Your name on the sign |
| During the ride | The car's position on the map |
Notes worth adding
Your preferred language for messages, whether you lip-read, and anything the chauffeur should know about the drop-off. If a change is needed, a typed message to dispatch is enough.
