How do I get home from ADE parties at 5am in Amsterdam?
After the trams and metro stop, GVB night buses take over from 00:30 on 11 lines from Central Station, and street taxis and ride-hailing apps work as on any night, at whatever price and wait the moment brings. A car you book before the night collects you at the venue at the time you choose: a ride to a hotel inside Amsterdam of up to 10 km is a fixed €50 in Business Class, the same at 5am as at noon.

Inside Amsterdam a short ride has a minimum fare by distance; beyond 15 km it is priced per kilometer, shown before you book. Booked less than 12 hours ahead, 10% is added (€55 instead of €50). Prices are per car, not per person, with 9% Dutch VAT included, and the same day and night. Booked less than 12 hours before pickup: +10%. At an airport or an intercity station the first 60 minutes of waiting are free, elsewhere 15 minutes; after that waiting is charged per minute at the class's hourly rate (Business €65 an hour). Free cancellation up to 1 hour before pickup.

What is included in the price
- A fixed price confirmed at booking, with VAT included: no meter and no surge
- The chauffeur’s name, car and phone number before pickup, plus e-mail reminders 24 hours and 2 hours ahead
- Water and phone chargers (iOS and Android) in the car
- Status updates to the person who booked, if that is not the passenger: confirmed, chauffeur en route, guest in the car, arrived
- A pickup time you can move by messaging dispatch if the set runs longer
Night bus or a booked car?
A night bus is fine when
- Your hotel is near Central Station or on a night-bus line.
- You are on your own, travel light and don’t mind waiting for the next bus.
- You have a day or multi-day GVB ticket, which night buses accept.
A booked car is better when
- The venue is in an industrial area such as Noord or Westpoort, far from Central Station.
- You are a group: a Van Class car takes up to 7 people for one price.
- You want to walk out and get in, rather than wait in line or watch an app.
- It is the Saturday night, when the clocks go back and the night runs an hour longer.

Where will the chauffeur pick me up outside the venue?
At the point you agree when you book. Streets beside the big rooms are often closed or packed at closing time, so the car waits where it can actually stop; the ADE venue guide describes how we approach each room.
Can I book the ride home before I know when the party ends?
Yes. Book your best guess and message dispatch to move it. If you really can’t say, an hourly booking keeps the car nearby all night, at €65 per hour in Business Class with 2 hours as the minimum.
Is there a night surcharge?
No. The fare does not depend on the hour. What does change it is booking late: less than 12 hours before pickup adds 10%, so €50 becomes €55.
Is the night train an option?
NS night trains run hourly between Utrecht, Amsterdam Centraal, Schiphol, Leiden, The Hague and Rotterdam, so they help if you are staying near one of those stations. Inside Amsterdam the night buses and cars do the rest.
