Does the clock change on October 25 affect my ADE Saturday night in Amsterdam?
Yes: at 03:00 on Sunday, October 25, 2026, the clocks in the Netherlands go back to 02:00, so the ADE Saturday night lasts an hour longer and the hour from 02:00 to 02:59 happens twice. AMF at the Johan Cruijff ArenA, for example, says it will end at 5:00 AM new time. A car booked online for a pickup inside that double hour is set for the first time around, in summer time, so arrange a pickup in the second one with dispatch.

Prices are per car, not per person, with 9% Dutch VAT included, and the same day and night. Booked less than 12 hours before pickup: +10%. At an airport or an intercity station the first 60 minutes of waiting are free, elsewhere 15 minutes; after that waiting is charged per minute at the class's hourly rate (Business €65 an hour). Booking around the double hour
- Pickup before 02:00. Book as usual. Nothing about the clock change touches it.
- Pickup between 02:00 and 02:59. Online, that time is read as the first 02:00–02:59, still in summer time. If you mean the second one, book 03:00 or later and message dispatch on WhatsApp with the exact time you want.
- Pickup at 03:00 or later. Book as usual: from then on the clock only runs once, in winter time.
- Holding a car all night. Count the hours on the clock plus one. A block from 23:00 to 05:00 is 7 hours: €455 in Business Class.
Why this night is longer
The Netherlands leaves summer time on the last Sunday of October, and in 2026 that falls on the closing day of Amsterdam Dance Event. At 03:00 the clock is set back to 02:00. Anyone out on Saturday night gets an extra hour of darkness, and every event that runs past 03:00 has to decide whether its end time is in the old or the new clock.
The Johan Cruijff ArenA answered that for AMF: the show starts at 8 PM on Saturday, October 24, and ends at 5:00 AM new time. That is ten hours after the start, not nine.
