How do I get from central Amsterdam to AMF at the Johan Cruijff ArenA and back?
By train or metro to Amsterdam Bijlmer ArenA or Strandvliet, both a few minutes’ walk from the stadium, or by car: from Dam Square it is about 11 km, roughly 18 minutes on a clear road. AMF runs on Saturday, October 24, 2026, from 8 PM to 5:00 AM new time, because the clocks go back during the night. A car there is a fixed €70 in Business Class and the ride back to Dam Square €50, the same at 5am.

Metro or car for AMF?
Train or metro is fine when

- You plan to stay until the very end and take a night bus back.
A car is better when
- You are a group of up to 7: one Van Class car at one price.
- Your hotel is far from both stations.
- You want the ride home fixed before the night starts, whatever time it ends.

Where does the car drop us off and pick us up at the ArenA?
At the closest point the traffic controllers allow that night. On big event nights roads around the Arenaboulevard are closed and cars are steered through a few approaches, so the exact spot is agreed with your chauffeur; the AMF night guide describes the approach.
Can the car wait for us during the show?
It can, by the hour, but a full AMF night is long: 8 PM to 5:00 AM new time is 10 hours, €650 in Business Class. Two single rides, there and back, are usually the better deal.
What time should the car collect us for the way back?
Pick a time a little after the set you came for rather than the very end, when most of the stadium leaves at once. You can move the pickup by messaging dispatch; remember the end time, 5:00 AM, is already on the new clock.
Is AmstelCab connected to AMF or ADE?
No. AmstelCab is an independent Amsterdam chauffeur service; tickets, entrances and door times come from AMF and the stadium.
