Schiphol pickup for ADE 2026: how busy is Amsterdam that week, and does the price change?
ADE 2026 runs from Wednesday, October 21, to Sunday, October 25, with more than 1,200 events across the city, so hotels, venues and the roads around them are at their fullest in the evenings. The price of a pre-booked pickup does not move with it: Schiphol to any Amsterdam address, a venue included, is €90 per car in Business Class, and the ride back to the airport €80.

To Schiphol: €80 Business, €85 Van, €90 First. Booked less than 12 hours before pickup, 10% is added (€99 instead of €90). Prices are per car, not per person, with 9% Dutch VAT included, and the same day and night. Booked less than 12 hours before pickup: +10%. At an airport or an intercity station the first 60 minutes of waiting are free, elsewhere 15 minutes; after that waiting is charged per minute at the class's hourly rate (Business €65 an hour). Free cancellation up to 1 hour before pickup.

What is included in the price
- Flight tracking from the moment you book: an early or late landing moves the pickup, at no extra cost
- Your chauffeur inside the arrivals hall your flight feeds into, holding an iPad sign with your name (or a company name, or no name)
- A message or call from the chauffeur around landing, so you find each other quickly
- Luggage carried from the hall to the car, which waits in the Privium section at the front of P1, a covered walk of about two minutes
- The first 60 minutes of waiting at Schiphol

Booking your ADE arrival and departure
- Book both ways at once. Arrival with your flight number, departure with the time you want to leave your hotel.
- Landing. The chauffeur follows the flight and waits inside the arrivals hall with a name sign.
- Straight to a venue? Any Amsterdam address is the same fixed price, so Schiphol to the ArenA, NDSM or the Westergas is €90 in Business Class.
- Going home. Sunday and Monday mornings are when the week’s visitors leave; booking ahead avoids the 10% short-notice supplement.

Can I go from Schiphol straight to an ADE venue with my luggage?
Yes. A venue is an address like any other, and inside Amsterdam the price stays €90 in Business Class. Check whether the venue has a cloakroom for a suitcase; otherwise drop the bags at the hotel on the way.
Is there a surcharge for landing late at night?
No. A pickup at 1am costs the same as one at 1pm. Only booking late changes the price: less than 12 hours ahead it is €99 in Business Class.
I fly home on Sunday, October 25. Anything to watch?
The clocks go back at 03:00 that morning. Your flight time is local time, and so is your pickup; any pickup from 03:00 onward is simply winter time, so book it as usual.
Where should I stay for ADE?
ADE venues are spread from Noord to Zuidoost and the Westerpark, so there is no single right area. Close to Central Station keeps the night buses and night trains within reach; anywhere else, a pre-booked car does the connecting.
