Where should I stay in Amsterdam for New Year's Eve 2026?
Stay within walking distance of where you will be at midnight. Last year trams, metros, buses and the ferries across the IJ stopped around 20:00 and only restarted from 01:30, so the Museum Quarter or the southern canal belt suits the Museumplein show, and the old center suits restaurants and bars. Avoid Noord or the outer districts unless you celebrate there, and if you fly early on January 1, consider a hotel at Schiphol.
