How long is the drive from Schiphol to Eindhoven?
About 1 h 45 on a clear road for the 130 km (81 miles) to Eindhoven Centraal, almost all of it on the A2, and much the same to Eindhoven Airport or ASML in Veldhoven. The stretches around Utrecht and Den Bosch slow down in the rush hours, so allow extra time then; the fare does not move with the traffic: about €445 per car in Business Class, fixed at booking.

Why we don’t quote a rush-hour number yet
A clear-road time is a floor, not a promise. On a weekday morning the A2 around Utrecht and the section near Den Bosch fill up, and the ring roads at either end add their own delays; how much depends on the day. Rather than print a figure we have not measured, the chauffeur proposes a pickup time with a margin for the hour you travel.
What does not change is the price. It is set from the road distance when you book, so a slow afternoon on the A2 costs you time but not money.

Is the train quicker?
Sometimes, in heavy traffic. A direct Intercity runs from Schiphol to Eindhoven Centraal without a change; check the NS planner for the journey time on your day. The car wins when you have luggage, travel in a group or need an address beyond the station.
How early should I leave Eindhoven for a flight home?
