Where was Silsila's "Dekha Ek Khwaab" filmed, and can I recreate it in 2027?
"Dekha Ek Khwaab" from Yash Chopra's Silsila (1981), with Amitabh Bachchan and Rekha, was shot in the Keukenhof tulip gardens in Lisse, and Amitabh Bachchan has shared photos of a family visit there in 1975. In 2027 you can stand in that color inside the gardens, open March 18 to May 9, and at farms that let visitors into a tulip field, but not in the working bulb fields around Keukenhof, which are private farmland.

When the color is strongest
The fields usually peak from mid to late April, though the weather decides; the gardens have color from opening day. For soft light and fewer people in your photos, take the 8am slot. Saturday, April 17 is Flower Parade day: beautiful, and very crowded.

Average highs are about 10 °C in March and 14 °C in April, with wind. Wear a thermal layer under the saree and bring a shawl. With a car you can change between the gardens and the field shoot, and keep spare shoes for wet grass.
