Is Holy Week 2027 a good time for Keukenhof, coming from the Philippines?
Holy Week 2027 runs from Maundy Thursday, March 25, to Easter Sunday, March 28, in Keukenhof's first fortnight: the gardens are open every day of the season, Easter included, with crocuses, daffodils, hyacinths and early tulips rather than the full April tulip show. Filipino passport holders need a Schengen visa, applied for at VFS Global in Makati or Cebu up to 6 months and at least 15 days before travel.

A Keukenhof day from an Amsterdam hotel is about 6 hours: €390 in Business Class or €480 in Van Class, per car. There is no non-stop flight from Manila. KLM's Amsterdam to Taipei flights continue to Manila in the 2026/27 winter schedule, or you can connect through a Gulf hub. Check your landing time before you book a Keukenhof slot.
An Easter-weekend plan
Saturday, March 27: an 8am Keukenhof slot, lunch in Haarlem, back by mid-afternoon. Avoid the roads around Lisse on Easter Monday afternoon. Note that clocks in the Netherlands move forward one hour in the night to Sunday, March 28.
