Can I go to Keukenhof on the day I land from Asia?
If you land in the morning, usually yes: overnight flights from Southeast Asia, India, Hong Kong, Taiwan and mainland China tend to arrive early, and Keukenhof is about 25 minutes from Schiphol, so book a time slot at least 3 hours after landing to cover the border and your bags. Daytime flights from Seoul and Tokyo land around 7pm, after the gardens' last entry at 6:15pm, so from Korea and Japan go the next morning.

Allow for the border
EES has been in full use since April 10, 2026: a first entry means a passport scan, a face image and fingerprints, and in August 2026 non-EU arrivals at Schiphol waited one to two hours on average. Your chauffeur follows your flight and waits in the arrivals hall.
Your suitcases
In the 2026 season Keukenhof kept large luggage free of charge at a depot near the main entrance, with free lockers for small bags. If you would rather keep everything in the car, the chauffeur can wait while you walk the gardens.
What the landing day costs
| Plan | Business Class | Van Class |
|---|---|---|
| Two fixed rides, Schiphol → Keukenhof → Amsterdam hotel, bags in Keukenhof's depot | about €212 | about €282 |
| The same rides with the car waiting about 4 hours, bags in the trunk | about €472 | about €602 |
Per car, from measured road distances; the exact fixed prices are shown when you book.
Beat the jet lag
Daylight helps, so the gardens make a good first day if you land early. Keep a car nap under 30 minutes, drink water (there is water on board) and eat light. Traveling with elders or toddlers? Rest first and go the next morning.
