The Mercedes-Benz E-Class is the car we send when nothing about the ride should need explaining: three seats, three bags, a chauffeur in a suit and a price settled before the door closes.

Amsterdam knows the Mercedes-Benz E-Class. It is the black saloon outside the Zuidas towers at eight in the morning and the one waiting in the Schiphol garage at midnight, and that familiarity is its strength: nobody looks twice at it, which suits most of our passengers very well.
Inside, it is Business Class as we define it: three seats in the back, three bags in the boot, water and an iOS or Android charger within reach, and a suited chauffeur who speaks English and knows which lane the A10 wants at that hour. Nothing is an option or an upgrade; the fare you saw when you booked is the fare.
One honest note on the photographs: they show the EQE, the E-Class’s electric sibling in the same class. Seats, luggage and prices are identical, so which of the two pulls up depends on availability on the day. You book the class; either car does the job the same way.

No — they show the Mercedes-Benz EQE, the electric car beside the E-Class in Business Class. Both carry three passengers and three bags at identical prices, so we photograph the class rather than each car. If you specifically want the E-Class, say so in the booking notes and dispatch will note the preference.
