Do I go through EES at the cruise terminal when my cruise ends in Amsterdam?
If your cruise arrives from outside the Schengen area, yes: you register at the terminal on the way off the ship. A Florida-to-Amsterdam passenger in May 2026 reported staffed EES kiosks in the terminal, four fingerprints and a photo, and a process that took only a couple of minutes; leaving from Schiphol was a passport scan. EES registration has been mandatory since 10 April 2026 and stays valid for up to three years. For your transfer it means one thing: book the pickup for your disembarkation group's time plus a margin, not for the ship's arrival.
