BUSINESS AND STUDY TRAVEL · AN AGRICULTURAL STUDY TOUR

We're bringing a group of farmers to the Netherlands. How do we plan the visits and the transport?

Build the week around regions, not individual farms, and keep one vehicle with the group. The Netherlands is among the world's largest exporters of agricultural products, and the visits that groups ask for cluster neatly: dairy in Friesland and the polders, greenhouses in the Westland near The Hague, research at Wageningen in Gelderland, and arable farming and machinery in Flevoland. Farm visits start early and run late, so a Van at €80 an hour, seven seats and luggage space, follows the group's day rather than a timetable; days that end in another region are quoted per kilometer.

By the hour: minimum 2 hours, 40 km included per hour, starting and ending in the same city. The chauffeur waits between stops. Rides outside Amsterdam are priced from the measured road distance (or a fixed route price where one applies) and shown as one fixed price before you book. Prices are per car, not per person, with 9% Dutch VAT included, and the same day and night. During ADE week (pickups October 20 to 26, 2026) fixed ADE-week prices apply, shown before you book; promo codes cannot be used that week. Booked less than 12 hours before pickup: +10%. At an airport or an intercity station the first 60 minutes of waiting are free, elsewhere 15 minutes; after that waiting is charged per minute at the class's hourly rate (Business €65 an hour). Free cancellation up to 1 hour before pickup.

What is included in the price

What makes group logistics work

  • A single named contact who confirms each day's program with dispatch.
  • Boots and coveralls in the back, not in the cabin; farms often ask visitors to change for biosecurity.
  • Buffer time: farm hosts talk longer than planned, and that is the point of the trip.
