Which Amsterdam museums and sights are easy with a wheelchair?
More than the cobbles suggest, with one famous exception. The Royal Palace on Dam Square has a ramp to the right of the main entrance, lifts to the rooms on display and an accessible toilet; Artis zoo has signed accessible routes; the Hollandsche Manege reaches its café by platform lift; and Blue Boat Company runs wheelchair-accessible canal boats from its jetty at Stadhouderskade 501. The Anne Frank House is not accessible because of its age and layout. Our cars carry a folding wheelchair in the trunk when it is declared at booking; passengers need to be able to transfer to a seat, because the fleet has no ramp vehicles. By the hour, door to door between sights, Business Class is €65.
