I’m joining a group tour in Amsterdam — how should I get from the airport to the tour hotel?
First check whether your tour includes an airport transfer at your arrival time; if it doesn’t, book a car from Schiphol straight to the tour hotel, which costs €90 for up to 3 people in Business Class or €125 for up to 7 in a van. Several tour members on the same flight share one car and one price. Prices are per car, not per person, with 9% Dutch VAT included, and the same day and night. Booked less than 12 hours before pickup: +10%. At Schiphol the first 60 minutes of waiting are free, elsewhere 15 minutes; after that waiting is charged per minute at the class's hourly rate (Business €65 an hour). Free cancellation up to 1 hour before pickup.

Planning the arrival around a tour
- Read the tour’s arrival instructions. Note the hotel, the check-in time and when the first meeting is.
- Book with your flight number. The chauffeur tracks it and waits in the arrivals hall with your name.
- Arriving early? Go to your own hotel first; book the short hop to the tour hotel for the morning the tour starts.
- Traveling with other tour members? If you land on the same flight, one van is one price for the whole car.
