Which roads are closed for Sinterklaas's arrival in Amsterdam on Sunday, November 15, 2026?
The organizer's 2026 timetable has Sinterklaas's steamboat at the Omval at 10:15, sailing down the Amstel under the Berlagebrug, the Nieuwe Amstelbrug and past Carré to the Scheepvaartmuseum at 11:30. At 13:00 the parade leaves the Stopera at Waterlooplein for Rembrandtplein (13:15), the Utrechtsestraat, Frederiksplein and the Weteringcircuit (13:55), reaching Leidseplein at 14:15, where the program ends at 15:30 and the square is free again at 17:00. The organizer says there are diversions and road closures during the arrival, so if your hotel is near the Amstel, Rembrandtplein or Leidseplein, plan rides before 10:00 or after 17:00.

Rides inside Amsterdam up to 10 km have a fixed price per car (€50 in Business Class); a detour around closures does not change it. Longer rides are priced per kilometer and shown before you book. Prices are per car, not per person, with 9% Dutch VAT included, and the same day and night. During ADE week (pickups October 20 to 26, 2026) fixed ADE-week prices apply, shown before you book; promo codes cannot be used that week. Booked less than 12 hours before pickup: +10%. At an airport or an intercity station the first 60 minutes of waiting are free, elsewhere 15 minutes; after that waiting is charged per minute at the class's hourly rate (Business €65 an hour). Free cancellation up to 1 hour before pickup.

Rides on parade day
Rides inside Amsterdam up to 10 km have a fixed price, €50 in Business Class, and a detour around the closures does not change it. If the car cannot reach your door, the driver stops at the nearest reachable corner.
