What’s the best way to get from Schiphol to Amsterdam with a baby and a stroller?
Book a car with a rear-facing baby seat fitted in advance (€5) and count the stroller as a piece of luggage: a Business Class sedan (€90 from Schiphol) takes about 2 standard check-in cases, so with a stroller and more than one big case, book Van Class (€125). The chauffeur meets you inside the arrivals hall and handles the stroller and bags, so your hands are free for the baby.

Going home: €80 in Business Class, €85 in Van Class, plus the seat. Prices are per car, not per person, with 9% Dutch VAT included, and the same day and night. Booked less than 12 hours before pickup: +10%. At Schiphol the first 60 minutes of waiting are free, elsewhere 15 minutes; after that waiting is charged per minute at the class's hourly rate (Business €65 an hour). Free cancellation up to 1 hour before pickup.

Train or car with a baby?
When the train is fine
- You travel with a baby carrier, one bag and a small stroller, and your hotel is next to Amsterdam Centraal.
When a chauffeur is the better choice
- You have a full-size stroller plus check-in cases.
- Your baby sleeps better in a car seat than on your lap.
- Your hotel needs a tram or a walk over bridges and cobbles after the train.
Arriving with a baby, step by step
- Book the seat with the ride. Choose “baby seat” and give the baby’s age; it cannot be added at the curb.
- Allow time at the airport. Border control, then bags; the chauffeur follows your flight and waits.
- Hand over the stroller. The chauffeur loads it with the bags while you settle the baby in the seat.
- Door to door. Water and phone chargers in the car; stops are fine if the baby needs one.

Is a baby seat legally required in an Amsterdam taxi?
Children under 3 don’t have to be in a car seat in a taxi under Dutch rules, but an approved seat is the safer choice, and we fit one for €5. A baby may only ride in the front rear-facing, with the airbag switched off.
Can I bring my own infant car seat?
Yes. Tell us when you book; the chauffeur helps fit it, and we don’t add one of ours.
What if we need a diaper change before we leave the airport?
Take the time you need: the first 60 minutes of waiting after landing are free, and the chauffeur stays in touch by message.
