Keukenhof and Giethoorn: one day or two?
Two, if you want to enjoy both: Giethoorn is about 145 km and 2 hours from Keukenhof, so both in one day means some 4 hours in the car and a rushed visit. Do Keukenhof on day one and Giethoorn on day two, arriving after the tour buses (most come between 11am and 1pm) or staying for the quieter hours after 4pm; we book your private boat at the boat company's own price, from €160 an hour for the boat, minimum 2 hours.
