What's on at the Concertgebouw at Christmas 2026, and how do I get there and back?
Handel's Messiah is performed twice in the Main Hall: on Tuesday, December 1, at 19:30 by PRJCT Amsterdam and the Flemish Radio Choir under Maarten Engeltjes, and on Sunday, December 20, at 19:30 by the Netherlands Handel Society with the Holland Symfonie Orkest. On Christmas Day, Friday, December 25, the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra gives its Christmas Matinee from 14:15 to 16:35, conducted by Klaus Mäkelä. The Concertgebouw stands by Museumplein; after an evening concert, meet your driver at an agreed corner rather than at the doors.

Rides inside Amsterdam up to 10 km have a fixed price per car (€50 in Business Class); a detour around closures does not change it. Longer rides are priced per kilometer and shown before you book. Prices are per car, not per person, with 9% Dutch VAT included, and the same day and night. During ADE week (pickups October 20 to 26, 2026) fixed ADE-week prices apply, shown before you book; promo codes cannot be used that week. Booked less than 12 hours before pickup: +10%. At an airport or an intercity station the first 60 minutes of waiting are free, elsewhere 15 minutes; after that waiting is charged per minute at the class's hourly rate (Business €65 an hour). Free cancellation up to 1 hour before pickup.

Getting there and home
Leave a margin, because the streets around Museumplein are busy in December. The hall empties at once after a concert, so agree on a pickup corner a short walk away. A ride inside Amsterdam up to 10 km is fixed at €50 in Business Class.
