When is the World Christmas Circus at Carré in 2026, and how do I get there?
The 40th World Christmas Circus (Wereldkerstcircus) plays Royal Theater Carré, Amstel 115, from Wednesday, December 16, 2026, to Sunday, January 3, 2027, with tickets from €26.50, according to Kidsproof. The 2026 show times were not out on October 21; last season shows started at 12:00, 13:00, 16:00, 17:00 or 20:00, there were shows on Christmas Day, and New Year's Day had only 13:00 and 17:00. Carré stands on the Amstel river in the center, and a pickup booked for a set time saves waiting outside after the show.

Rides inside Amsterdam up to 10 km have a fixed price per car (€50 in Business Class); a detour around closures does not change it. Longer rides are priced per kilometer and shown before you book. Prices are per car, not per person, with 9% Dutch VAT included, and the same day and night. During ADE week (pickups October 20 to 26, 2026) fixed ADE-week prices apply, shown before you book; promo codes cannot be used that week. Booked less than 12 hours before pickup: +10%. At an airport or an intercity station the first 60 minutes of waiting are free, elsewhere 15 minutes; after that waiting is charged per minute at the class's hourly rate (Business €65 an hour). Free cancellation up to 1 hour before pickup.
