Can I do a day trip from Amsterdam to the Band of Brothers sites in the Netherlands?
Yes: the series follows Easy Company of the 101st Airborne, which in Operation Market Garden fought for the bridges north of Eindhoven at Son and, in the series, liberated Eindhoven and fought at Nuenen, all about 124 km (77 miles) south of Amsterdam. An 8-hour day by car covers that area for €520 in Business Class; 10 hours, €650, adds the Nijmegen area, where the series follows the company next.

Prices are per car, not per person, with 9% Dutch VAT included, and the same day and night. Booked less than 12 hours before pickup: +10%. At an airport or an intercity station the first 60 minutes of waiting are free, elsewhere 15 minutes; after that waiting is charged per minute at the class's hourly rate (Business €65 an hour).
