The inland route takes the A2 to Utrecht and then the A27 south: over the Merwede at Gorinchem, along the edge of the Biesbosch wetlands and into Breda from the north-east. The western route follows the A4 past Schiphol, Leiden and The Hague to Rotterdam, then the A16 through Dordrecht and over the Moerdijk bridges across the Hollands Diep, arriving at the Breda ring from the north-west.
