Can I visit Aachen, Valkenburg and Maastricht's Christmas markets in one day from Amsterdam?
Yes, between November 27 and December 23, when all three are open, but it is a long day of about 14 hours with 6 h 35 of driving. The order that works: Aachen first (it opens at 11:00), Valkenburg's caves in the afternoon, 28 km away, and Maastricht last, because it stays open until midnight. Many families enjoy it more over two days with a night in Maastricht.
