Where can I go ice skating in Amsterdam in winter 2026 to 2027?
The dependable choice is the Jaap Eden ice rink in Amsterdam-Oost, Radioweg 64, open from October to March, with an uncovered 400-meter outdoor track, a beginners' rink and an indoor hall. Skate hire starts at €6, and you need a valid ID. In December, Het Amsterdamse Winterparadijs at the RAI adds rinks for ticket holders, though its 2026 dates were still provisional on October 21. Prices are per car, not per person, with 9% Dutch VAT included, and the same day and night. At an airport or an intercity station the first 60 minutes of waiting are free, elsewhere 15 minutes; after that waiting is charged per minute at the class's hourly rate (Business €65 an hour).
