Will the driver stop for prayer, and where can we find halal food on trips to Giethoorn and Roermond?
Yes: tell us when you book and we plan the day around prayer times, and stops are part of the hours you book (from €65 an hour) at no extra cost. The Roermond outlet has a Quiet Room for silence or prayer, and the Giethoorn boats allow no outside food but serve fruit, dates and nuts. We name no halal restaurants on these routes that we have not checked, so the simplest plan is a halal lunch in Amsterdam before you leave or after you return.

The drive to Giethoorn is about 1 h 39 and to Roermond about 2 h 25 on a clear road, so count prayer time on the road inside the hours. Prices are per car, not per person, with 9% Dutch VAT included, and the same day and night. During ADE week (pickups October 20–26, 2026) fixed ADE-week prices apply, shown before you book; promo codes cannot be used that week. Booked less than 12 hours before pickup: +10%. At an airport or an intercity station the first 60 minutes of waiting are free, elsewhere 15 minutes; after that waiting is charged per minute at the class's hourly rate (Business €65 an hour). Free cancellation up to 1 hour before pickup.

How we arrange it with you:
- Tell us when you book or on WhatsApp, and we build the plan around the prayer times of your day.
- A stop at a suitable place on the way is part of the hours you book.
- At the Roermond outlet, the Quiet Room is near the Adidas entrance on the first floor, next to the restrooms.
- Summer days are very long: in late June the sun sets in the Netherlands at about 10:05pm.
Ramadan 2027
Ramadan is expected to begin around February 8, 2027. In February and March the sun sets in the Netherlands between about 5:40pm and 6:35pm, so the days are short: plan day trips to be back before iftar; Giethoorn, for example, is about 1 h 39 from Amsterdam.

We have not verified one in the village, so do not count on it. Plan lunch in Amsterdam, and on the boat you can order fruit, dates and nuts.
