Arrive quietly,
leave the same way.
Unmarked black cars, a chauffeur who has done this before, and a plan that keeps your name off the sign and your arrival away from the front steps. Nothing about the booking announces who is in the back.
Privacy is not an upgrade here. It is how the car already works.
Every car in the fleet is black and unbadged, with no roof sign, no livery and no branding in the rear window. It looks like any other premium saloon on the Apollolaan or the Zuidas, which is exactly the point: the interesting part of a discreet arrival is that nobody registers it happening.
The rest is conduct rather than equipment. Chauffeurs work to the plan they were given and improvise only when the plan breaks. They do not take photographs, they do not discuss who was in the car yesterday, and they open a conversation only if you open it first. Guests who want to talk about the Rijksmuseum or the traffic on the A10 will find someone happy to; guests who want silence will get it without having to ask twice.
Four kinds of booking, one standard of restraint.
Hotel to soundcheck to stage door, with the car positioned where the crowd is not. A Van Class carries the party and the flight cases; a second car follows for management.
During a deal, a diary is information. Cars are booked by the office, invoiced to the company and never described to anyone who asks where you have been.
Broadcast studios, foundations, hospitals and private appointments, reached through the entrance that does not face the street and at a time nobody has published.
School runs, a birthday dinner, a hospital appointment. Child and baby seats are fitted before the car arrives, at €5 each, so nothing is assembled on the pavement.
The small decisions that keep an arrival quiet.
Tell us which of these apply when you book, and they are written into the job before a chauffeur is assigned.
A chauffeur company, and only that.
It is worth being blunt, because the word "discreet" is used loosely in this trade. AmstelCab is a premium chauffeur company. We do not employ or supply security personnel, we do not provide protective escorts, and our cars are standard premium Mercedes-Benz and BMW saloons with no defensive modifications whatsoever. Anyone telling you otherwise about our fleet is describing a different company.
What we do offer is the transport half of the arrangement, done properly: punctual, unmarked, predictable, and run by people who understand that the schedule is confidential. Where a client travels with their own team, we work to that team’s brief — their route, their timings, their choice of entrance — and the chauffeur takes instructions from them on the day. That division of labour is clearer for everyone than a company claiming to be both.
Prices, in writing, before the first ride.
Discretion changes the plan, not the price list. These are the same published rates that apply to any booking, taxes included, per car.
Short rides carry a minimum fare of €90 in First Class up to 10 km and €120 up to 15 km. Booking within 12 hours of pickup adds 10%. Cancellation is free until one hour before pickup.
Send the brief, not the details.
For sensitive movements a short message is better than a form. Give us the dates, the number of guests and any constraint that matters — a rear entrance, a blank sign, a name we should use instead. Dispatch replies with a fixed price and keeps the rest of the conversation on the same thread.
How our chauffeurs work alongside a client’s own security team, and where the line between the two sits.
What happens between the aircraft door and the car, and how the sign is handled.
The Mercedes-Maybach S-Class: two reclining seats, fixed airport prices, never a first-come booking.
The S-Class, EQS and i7 — the class most discreet bookings travel in.
Yes, and it is a common request. The board can carry a company name, an agent’s name, a single word you choose, or stay blank with the chauffeur standing where you were told to look. The chauffeur still waits inside the arrivals hall and the first sixty minutes after landing are free.
Yes. Bookings under an assistant’s, agent’s or company name are normal here. Status updates — confirmed, chauffeur en route, guest in the car, safely arrived — go to whoever made the booking, so the office knows the guest has arrived without anyone phoning the guest.
Where the venue allows it, yes. Tell us the address and the constraint when you book and dispatch arranges it with the hotel, studio or office in advance, so the car is already in the right place rather than circling the block.
No. We are a chauffeur company and nothing more: professional chauffeurs, unmodified premium cars, and a plan kept between you and dispatch. If a client travels with their own protection team, our chauffeur follows that team’s instructions for routes, timings and entrances.
Ask when you book and we plan the days around it as far as the rosters allow. Continuity is the practical half of discretion — the same person already knows the entrance, the preferred temperature and whether you want to talk.
The same as any other booking: €80 to and €90 from Schiphol in Business Class, €90 and €140 in First Class, €65 to €100 an hour by class, and one fixed all-in quote for everything else. There is no premium for privacy.
