How do I get home from a December club night in Amsterdam?
Plan the ride home before you go out. Winter of Love, a ten-hour house classics festival, runs from 13:00 to 23:00 on Saturday, December 12, at Thuishaven, Contactweg 68, in the port area west of the center, about 9 km and 17 minutes by car from the center. GVB night buses run from about 00:30, mostly from Centraal, and NS night trains run hourly between Utrecht, Amsterdam, Schiphol, Leiden, The Hague and Rotterdam. When thousands leave at once, a car booked for a set time and meeting point is the calmest way home.

Rides inside Amsterdam up to 10 km have a fixed price per car (€50 in Business Class); a detour around closures does not change it. Longer rides are priced per kilometer and shown before you book. Prices are per car, not per person, with 9% Dutch VAT included, and the same day and night. During ADE week (pickups October 20 to 26, 2026) fixed ADE-week prices apply, shown before you book; promo codes cannot be used that week. Booked less than 12 hours before pickup: +10%. At an airport or an intercity station the first 60 minutes of waiting are free, elsewhere 15 minutes; after that waiting is charged per minute at the class's hourly rate (Business €65 an hour). Free cancellation up to 1 hour before pickup.

Thuishaven to the center is a city ride: €50 in Business Class, €70 in Van Class for a group of up to 7. Pick a meeting point a street away from the exit, not at the door.
