Safe hands,
and proof of it.
Peace of mind in a chauffeured car is not a slogan; it is a short list of things you can check. Where the car is, who is driving, what the trip costs, who answers the phone at three in the morning. This page sets out that list, and nothing else.
What safety means when you are the one in the back.
Most of what makes a ride feel safe is mundane. You know the car is coming because you can see it on a map. You know who is driving because the name and the licence plate are on your screen before the door opens. You know what it will cost because the amount was fixed when you booked, so nobody has a reason to take the long way round the A10. And if anything is off, one message reaches a person at dispatch who can act on it.
You will not find claims here about vetting procedures, training hours or cover amounts. We keep to what you can verify on the day: a hand-picked, experienced chauffeur in a suit, a premium black car from the classes on our fleet pages, a live position on My Ride while you are on board, and a dispatch line staffed around the clock, every day of the year.
We are a chauffeur company, not a security firm, and nothing here is a protective promise. It describes how an ordinary AmstelCab ride is run, for the traveller landing late, the parent putting a teenager in a car, and the assistant booking for someone else.
Six things that are true on every ride.
From the moment the chauffeur sets off, your booking page shows the car on a map and keeps showing it until you arrive. Nothing to install; the page opens from your confirmation.
Once a chauffeur is assigned, My Ride shows their name, the licence plate and a phone number. Match the plate to the car at the kerb before you get in.
The amount is settled at booking and does not move: no meter, no surge, no card surcharge. A chauffeur who is not paid by the kilometre has nothing to gain from a detour.
Book for a colleague, a parent or a guest and you are told when the ride is confirmed, when the chauffeur is en route, when the passenger is in the car and when they have arrived.
One number, +31 6 85141194, for phone and WhatsApp, answered 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, in English and Dutch, by the people who assign the cars.
Ask for a seat when you book, €5 each, and the car arrives with it already fitted, in Business, Van or First Class. Tell us the child’s age.
Four messages, from confirmation to the front door.
The ride reports on itself at each step, to passenger and booker alike; nobody has to ring and ask.
Straight away, with the fixed price, the class and the pickup time in writing. For a Schiphol pickup we start tracking the flight from this moment.
The status changes and the car appears on the map. If the flight lands early or late, the pickup time has already moved with it.
The booker is told the passenger is on board. From here the live position runs until the door opens at the destination.
The last update. For an assistant at a desk or a parent at home, this is the message that ends the evening.
A chauffeur you could introduce, in a car you would recognise.
Our chauffeurs are hand-picked and experienced, professionally dressed in a suit, and speak English. They know Amsterdam’s one-way system and which Schiphol garage is nearest to which arrivals hall. They are not asked to hurry; the price is fixed, so there is nothing to gain from it.
The cars are black, premium and late-model: Mercedes-Benz E-Class, EQE, S-Class, EQS and V-Class, BMW 5 Series, i5 and i7, each with water and chargers on board. We are not a platform; the person who answers the phone is the person who sent the car.
Every step from the booking form to the confirmation, the ride link and the cancellation window.
Find your booking, follow the car live and see who is driving.
How assistants and families book, and what they hear back at each step.
Flight tracking, a name sign in arrivals and sixty minutes of free waiting.
The full picture: classes, hourly hire, long distance and the fleet.
Yes. Your My Ride page shows the car on a map from the moment the chauffeur sets off, and keeps showing it while you are on board. The page opens from the link in your confirmation; there is nothing to install.
My Ride shows the chauffeur’s name, the licence plate and a phone number, and the chauffeur has your name in turn. At Schiphol the chauffeur waits inside the arrivals hall with a name sign. If anything does not match, do not get in; call dispatch.
It removes the one reason a driver might ever choose a longer road. Your quote is agreed before departure and covers the trip door to door, taxes included, with no meter running.
Nothing beyond being at the door. Put their phone number in the passenger field if they have one, or yours if they do not; you receive every status update either way. The chauffeur meets them at the address or in the arrivals hall, helps with the luggage and drives.
You have two direct lines: the chauffeur’s number on My Ride and dispatch on +31 6 85141194, both answered at any hour. Dispatch can see where the car is and reach the chauffeur immediately.
Because we would rather not print claims you cannot check. What we publish is what you can see for yourself: a hand-picked chauffeur, a car you can identify by its plate, a price agreed in advance, and a dispatch line that answers.
